Learn How We Managed to Rank on Google in 2 Weeks Using a New Domain

Many people will tell you that it is impossible to be ranking on page 1 in 2 weeks with a new domain but we made the “Impossible” to “Im’possible”.

How did we manage to do it?

Let’s face it, over the years, Google have admitted that backlinks play a part in rankings. However, our website can never win against a big corporation in terms of backlinks (Duh, the website is less than a month’s old). So how did we do it? The “Harry Potter” Touch

To be honest, we are really busy with our work and thus, we built a website with a single page and this will probably be our first blog post. So, what is the magic touch? We simply performed the best SEO optimization we ever have in our life on this website. I remember it was 3PM in the afternoon, hot and sunny outside. By the time I finished optimizing the website, I came to realize that it was already dark outside and it was 9PM. That laser-like focus was maintained over the course of 6 hours and it went by as if it was a minute.

Of course, optimizing your website is one important factor but that is not it. I submitted the sitemap, crawl the pages and do everything I can to get Google to index my website. That worked and we got index the next day, wait, or was it the next two days. Oh well, I could not remember, the point is that we got indexed really quickly.

Now, you will be like, “COME ON! JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU DID! IT COULDN’T BE SO SIMPLE…”. My answer is, Yes, it is so simple. It is just what we did. However, to the next point, the “Secret Ingredient”. But first, let me ask you a question, how important is keyword research in SEO. You’ll probably say that it is important, the most important, the foundations blah blah blah… But, did you actually prioritize keyword research before you start SEO? Ask yourself this question and answer truthfully. I’ll give you some time to think about it.

You may have already figured it out but, yes, it is the keyword research we did. We are trying to rank for a long-tail keyword (yes, yes, yes… This now feel like a waste of time…), however, this long-tail keyword is related to your business and your future ranking keyword.
